THE COMET COMETH: ANOTHER END OF DAYS 42 RAPTURE OMEN EMERGES

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork. Day to day utters speech, and night to night utters knowledge” (Psalm 19:1-2).

In the course of the study of biblical end times eschatology, there is probably not a more exciting area of prophetic observation than the course of travel that comets take in their sail through the inner solar system. What seems to make comets especially of keen interest is when they can be observed with the naked eye and the seemingly prophetic purpose that major comets display when looked at from the biblical eschatological view. This is especially true when these visitors from outer space seem to get the attention of the mass media. Such has been the case with most, if not all of the previous major comets that we have seen enter and exit the inner solar system. Some have been seen with the naked eye, some have not.

In speaking of the prophetic nature of said comets that we may discern as a sign of the end times, one of the more well-known comets of recent memory was that of the Hale-Bopp comet – discovered on July 23, 1995 in the constellation Sagittarius. It was seen with the naked eye by the entire world from the earth. Hale-Bopp comet appeared nearly 50,000 times brighter than Halley’s comet.

I have previously written about the astounding prophetic omen and evidence this comet displayed that pointed our attention to the fact that it was a sign from God that we were entering into the start of a time period that will lead to the rise of a biblical figure the Bible calls the Antichrist. Amazingly, that comet’s peculiar and observable trek through the heavens combined with its timing seems to have pointed us to the year 2017 with prophetic connotative signs suggesting an ongoing message that continues to reverberate in the present and our immediate future.

Furthermore, as was written in that article, during the spring and summer of 1997, Hale-Bopp remained visible to the naked eye in many parts of the world. Even though it eventually dropped out of sight in that respect, it remained visible with the aid of a telescope until mid-December 1997. October 2, 1997, marked the beginning of the Hebrew year 5758. I will point out that , as it is written in Hebrew, this year contains the name “Noah.”  In Biblical prophetic scripture, Jesus warned that the sign that we have entered the end times that will lead to his return in the events of the Rapture, the seven year judgment upon the world known as the Tribulation and the second coming of Christ will be like the days of Noah …

“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37-39).

Using the same principle as the Rebbe, the Hebrew year 5758 (1997-98) forms the acrostic, ha tekufah shel Noah – the season of Noah! Interestingly, according to astronomers, the last time this comet had been seen in our inner solar system was approximately 4,200 years previous. This would put the last passage of the comet around the time that Noah was building the Ark in preparation for the judgment of the Great Flood.

It is with those previously covered prophetic observations in mind that it was easy to conclude that during the year of that comet (1997), Divine Providence seemed to have been telling us that the world had officially entered into the end of days repeat of the season of Noah’s day before the judgment of the flood occurred. With that thought in mind, it is rather easy to regard that particular comet as the prophetic sign that judgment is coming and that it is the sign that keeps on giving as will be shown a bit later (see that previous article here).

WHERE DO COMETS COME FROM? THE NOAH’S FLOOD FACTOR

“And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights” (Genesis 7:10-12).

To the average person who may hold any interest in space objects such as asteroids, meteors, meteorites and comets and interest in space in general, it may be a great mystery as to where they came from. Most scientists who hold an interest in this area of study may not even consider that space rocks likely come from a well-known event from the Bible. As ludicrous as it may seem to some, when the science and the history of the world is studied from the Bible’s narrative, it all begins to make perfect sense. Those who hold no belief in biblical matters may assign the origin of space rocks to the false narrative of the “big bang.” However, the evidence points straight to Noah’s Flood.

Often, when most people picture the biblical scenario of Noah’s Flood, they may imagine that it just rained for forty days on the earth and that is it. However, as you can see from the highlighted text above from Genesis 7, the “fountains of the deep burst forth.” From those few simple words of the text, it appears that, in addition to the rain falling to the earth, the earth itself contained a massive reservoir of water that suddenly burst forth and propelled the natural elements of the earth (rock, sand, etc.) into outer space and set them on their own orbital courses. One person who holds such a view is Dr. Walt Brown, author of “In The Beginning: Compelling Evidence For Creation And The Flood” (see video below starting at the 29:33 mark).

With this fact in mind, it should be of no surprise to anyone then that we could observe the sovereignty of God in action as he timed many of these comets and other space debris to travel through certain constellations and sections of our inner solar system as a message to man throughout history – and especially in the end times – as a warning. Importantly, this sovereign act of God would also include the timing of their arrival at these prophetically significant locations in our solar system. This is what we saw with the Hale-Bopp comet especially, but also other comets thereafter as covered in previous articles titled THE BEAR RAPTURE PROPHECY AND COMET ATLAS and a later one titled THE ALASKA BEAR RAPTURE OMEN: U.S. ARMY SOLDIER KILLED IN BEAR ATTACK DURING ALASKA TRAINING EXERCISE – THE 11/412/509/673D RAPTURE CODE. It seems that God has been hurling the signs our way for a long while now in these end times and in the last few years especially, they have been coming fast and furiously.

ENTER COMET C/2022 E3 (ZTF)

There is now another major comet headed our way. Many news outlets have been covering this comet that is currently traveling in the inner solar system and is scheduled to reach perigee (closest distance to the Earth) on February 1-2 and will likely be seen by the naked eye. It is expected by some, but not all, that this comet may be brighter than expected and quite possibly be seen with the naked eye before then. The path that this comet will be taking is a rather interesting one prophetically speaking as is being highlighted by some other watchmen. In light of its travel path and the rather telling prophetic signs it is displaying as a result of its points of travel, the date of its discovery makes this comet event well worth noting as we watch for God’s signals of the approaching Rapture event and the following Tribulation period of judgment that God has assigned to the Earth.

With all those thoughts in mind, lets explore the prophetic details of this comet and actually understand the reason for the grandiose statement concerning this comet as assigned in this article’s title and then we shall dig into the eyebrow raising prophetic significance of the date of its discovery. In my humble opinion, it may just be the icing on the big, fat artery-clogging cake of information that follows below.

Amazingly, the comet was discovered on March 2, 2022. This particular piece of information will become rather dramatic and telling as will be revealed later. But right now, lets lay some sizzling groundwork of this comet pertaining to its travel path and the constellations it is traveling through that seem to tell us God is speaking to the world in warning of judgment to come – and for those who are born again in Christ, deliverance from this approaching time of judgment via the Rapture.

It is first important to note that we are not talking about astrology. We are talking about the signs/constellations of the heavens in relation to how God originally intended it to be. As with most things Godly and biblical, demonic principalities and powers under the control of the evil one we know as Lucifer a.k.a. Satan twists everything into a perverted form of study, leading human beings down the path of false beliefs and religions related to the study of the heavens among many other things. This has been the case down through the ages with the worship/study of the heavens in astrology. However, God has his original meaning. It is this original and intended context that we observe the prophetic utterances of the heavens as we now observe them today apart from astrology (not to be confused with astronomy).

As stated,other watchmen have covered much detail concerning this comet (see “Recommended Reading and Viewing” section at the end of this article), however, I would like to not only hit some of those highlights, but also add an additional insight, or two or three that has thus far gone unnoticed by some as it relates to the Rapture event.

Tellingly, the comet entered the constellation Corona Borealis on December 19, 2022 – the first day of Hanukkah and exited Corona Borealis at the end of Hanukkah on December 26-27. Corona Borealis is the “Crown” shaped constellation.

It is a northern constellation sitting above the head of the Serpent in the constellation Serpens, between Bootes and Hercules.

Interestingly, the Serpent in biblical scripture represents Satan …

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9).

It is earlier in the first few passages in Revelation 12 that we find what many consider to be a parenthetical passage of scripture depicting the Serpent (Satan) standing before the woman who is pregnant with a child ready to devour it when it is born, when suddenly, the man child (the Church) is “caught up” to Heaven (the Rapture) …

“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne” (Revelation 12:1-5).

Constellation Corona Borealis is indicative of crowns. The theme of crowns is well established in prophecy. In Revelation 6, the Antichrist is seen wearing a symbolic crown, indicating that he has been “crowned” with authority over the earth and its inhabitants through the Mark of the Beast system after the Rapture has taken place …

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer” (Revelation 6:1-2).

Interestingly, the Corona Borealis constellation has a total of seven stars that make up the crown of the constellation.

In the above referenced Revelation 12 parenthetical Rapture passage, we see that Satan (the great red dragon) has a total of seven crowns upon his head. This may be indicative of his ruler-ship over the whole earth. The earth has a total of seven continents. Also tellingly, on the first day when the comet entered Corona Borealis (crown), which was on the first day of Hanukkah, the comet itself developed a green coma (pictured below).

In essence, one might say that the comet was “crowned” in the Corona constellation on the first day of Hanukkah. Curiously, it is also the day when the very first pictures of the comet were taken and seen by the world.

ENTERING THE TAIL OF THE DRAGON

After exiting the “crown” constellation, the comet then entered the tail of Draco the Dragon. Satan is also represented in the biblical text as the “dragon.” This takes us back to the aforementioned parenthetical Revelation 12 Rapture passage of verse 4 wherein the tail of the dragon draws a third part of the stars of Heaven and casts them to the earth – an event depicted just before the Rapture occurs in verse 5 …

“And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born” (Revelation 12:4).

It is noteworthy that the “Draco the Dragon” constellation spans 40 degrees of the Zodiac in the Signs of Gemini, Cancer and Leo, and contains 8 named fixed stars. The number 40 has much biblical significance – Noah’s Flood lasted for a period of 40 days and 40 nights. Satan tempted Jesus while in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights, Moses was on top of Mt. Sinai for 40 days (with Mount Sinai being an Old Testament typological picture of the future Rapture wherein the God descended on the mountain while Moses ascended the Mountain to meet with Him – in like manner at the Rapture, the Lord will descend while those in the body of Christ will ascend to meet Him in the air) and Jesus ascended back to Heaven in 40 days after His resurrection from the grave after crucifixion.

Then, interestingly, the comet entered the tail of the dragon a.k.a. constellation Draco the Dragon. This takes us back to the aforementioned Revelation 12 passage referring to the Dragon a.k.a. Satan. The comet will remain in the tail of the dragon from January 19, 2023 to January 28, 2023. Interestingly, the comet will have exited Draco the Dragon and the Corona Borealis constellations by February 1-2 and be closest to the earth on those two days where it is said that it will be most visible to the naked eyes of the world. Incidently, most have heard of “Event 201,” which was the planning event by the elites surrounding the possible event of a “global pandemic.” This event occurred on Friday, October 18, 2019. Of course, as we all know, the so-called “pandemic” Covid con job was foisted onto the world later that year in December. The “201” number in the name of this event corresponds to the date when this comet will be seen by the naked eyes of the world – February 1 (Event 2-01).

There has been much speculation surrounding the Covid so-called “vaccines” as being somehow connected to the future Mark of the Beast. In my opinion, these speculations are most certainly not without merit. It is no secret to many who are sufficiently informed, including many doctors and physicians who are blowing the lid off this vaccine con job that these injections contain nano-technology that seem to be altering human DNA. There is even much talk of tying these nano-tech injections with the now emerging digital currencies that are now on the brink of being implemented by the elite globalists. If that were to happen (and it appears that it is inevitable), then I think it would be safe to say that the very name of this so-called “pandemic” was the starting shot for the eventual emergence of this Beast system. This subject goes down an obviously long rabbit hole, but suffice to say, there is something very dark and sinister about these deadly operating systems they are calling “vaccines.”

With that thought freshly in your mind, it is rather interesting indeed that this comet should enter the Corona Borealis constellation given the fact that we see the Antichrist, the rider on the white horse of Revelation 6 being “crowned” with authority and the so-called “pandemic” has been dubbed the “Corona virus.”

From the day that “Event 201” was held to the day that Comet E3-ZTF will be closest to Earth on February 1 will be a total of 1203 days. In Strong’s Biblical Concordance, the number 1203 means “an authority figure, a master who exercises complete jurisdiction and wields unrestricted power, absolute domination, confessing no limitations or restraint.” This description fits perfectly with what the beast, the Antichrist of Revelation 6 and 13, will do during his reign of terror over the entire earth during the Tribulation as he is “crowned” (Corona Borealis).

Just as the elites from the World Economic Forum came together for a four-day meeting event from January 16-20, the comet entered the tail of the dragon – Constellation Draco the Dragon – on January 19.

In light of this observation, we should now note that after exiting Corona Borealis, then exiting Draco the Dragon, the comet traveled through the next constellation called Bootes. Bootes means “I come.” Here, we are reminded of Christ’s words that when He returns, His rewards for those who have personally received Him in this life who are a part of the true Church will be waiting for them. He is coming back to reward those who belong to him and have actively served Him in service to the Kingdom of God. Again, this is seen in the symbolism of “crowns” that will be given to those in Christ who have faithfully fulfilled their calling on Earth as a follower of Christ:

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” Revelation 22:12).

This takes us straight back to the first constellation that this comet passed through (Corona Borealis) and the theme of crowns. On a side note, it is rather interesting that this comet would be discovered in the year 2022 and first enter the crown-themed constellation in light of the fact that the narrative of when He comes back and gives rewards is found in chapter 22 of Revelation. In addition, the comet’s naked eye view will be seen on the 1st and 2nd of February and the very verse numbers of chapter 22 describing his returning with reward are also found in verse 12 of that same chapter (two digits – 1 and 2 that make up the number 12).

These crowns that will be given to us who are a part of the body of Christ represent authority and position in the coming Kingdom of Heaven. They will be given to each individual in the raptured born again body of believers who faithfully served in the here and now.

THE BEAR RAPTURE COMET AND THE NUMBER 9 BEAR ATTACK CODE

On Thursday, Jan. 26, the comet will appear just beside Ursa Minor, the “Little Bear” or “Little Dipper.” It is called the “Lesser Bear.” This fact appears to be rather prophetically significant considering that the Ursa Minor constellation is a northern constellation sitting under constellation Draco the Dragon, between constellation Cephus and constellation Ursa Major … which is the “Great Bear.” Ursa Minor, the “little bear,” is representative of the sheepfold in ancient times. Back then, it was known as “The Lesser Sheepfold,” pictured below:

Above the Lesser Sheepfold you can see King Cepheus seated.  Under His left foot is Cynosure, the Pole Star. Cepheus, of course, is a picture of Jesus. In His left hand, He is holding out His royal scepter as if offering it to the woman enthroned, Cassiopeia.  He appears to be inviting or directing her to enter the Lesser Sheepfold. This is all representative of the Church, or the bride. 

An ancient name for the Ursa Minor constellation was called, “Kochab: He Who Comes” by the Hebrews, so named for its second brightest star, located in the upper right corner of the Sheepfold. As mentioned in the above linked two articles, the hidden “bear rapture” prophecy in 2 Kings chapter 2 tells us that it was “two she bears” that came from the “woods” and mauled the 42 mockers “after” the disappearance, or rapture, of Elijah. Russia’s pairing of “two bear bombers“ always seem to come close to American airspace via Alaska … a state that can be considered to be a desolate and wooded state with trees, or woods – just like the two bears in Elijah’s day of rapture emerged from the woods. In yet another eerie and, perhaps prophetic, twist is the fact that Alaska’s state flag displays the Big Dipper, which is a part of the “Ursa Major” constellation – again, the very constellation that this comet has just entered near as of this writing. Interestingly enough, this may sound familiar as a previous and recent comet called comet Atlas also entered into or near this same constellation during its passing.

Another interesting, yet ominous and tragic event occurred during the middle of January while this prophetic omen-filled comet was hitting all the prophetic points in the constellations. A 24-year-old woman, Summer Myomick and her 1-year-old son were fatally attacked and killed by a polar bear in the small whaling village of Wales, Alaska.

This tragic event occurred on January 17. The woman had left a local school during a snowstorm with her son Clyde Ongtowasruk. People in the school went out to attempt to scare off the bear, but it charged them, and they were forced to take shelter back inside, as the Associated Press reported. Eventually, a community member arrived with a gun and killed the bear as it continued to maul the woman and baby. The truly eery and ominous timing situation of this event was that the comet had entered between the two bear constellations (Ursa Major and Ursa Minor) a total of 9 days after this tragic mauling death took place. In the Bible, the number 9 is the number of completion, finality and judgment. The idea conveyed is that some quota has been met or some process has ended so that something else can happen. Is that completion and finality theme speaking to the end of the Church Age culminating in the Rapture so that the judgment process in the form of the bear (Russia) upon America can begin – and thereafter, the judgment of the Tribulation can begin? An ominous sign for the world indeed.

In light of all the prophetic significance of this comet explored to this point, you may be wondering about the reason I titled this article using the number 42. It is now time to reveal the reason – and it is a very simple, yet revealing one.

As mentioned in previous articles, the writ of the Divinely inspired biblical text reveals the concept that what God has done in the past, he is going to repeat at some point in the future …

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.  Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us”(Ecclesiastes 1:9-10).

“That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past” (Ecclesiastes 3:15).

This is where we come to the subject of the next prophetic event on God’s calendar – an event known as the Rapture so clearly described by the Apostle Paul …

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first [Departure], and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3).

Interestingly, the length of time from the moment that a previous major comet called Ison’s perihelion event (the moment when the comet reached its closest point to the sun) on November 8, 2013 to the moment when our current comet E3-ZTF was crowned with its green coma, is a total of 3333 days. In Strong’s Biblical Concordance, the number 3333 means to “call from one place to another.” This is what will occur when the members of the true body of Christ, or the true born again Church i.e those who have personally received Christ will be called into Heaven at the Rapture event.

As mentioned, after the rapture of Elijah in 2 Kings chapter 2, there were 42 mocking Israelites mocking Elisha who was walking beside Elijah when he disappeared -indicating the spirit of unbelief, hostility and disdain that already existed before the event occurred. As they began to mock and ridicule Elijah over the rapture of Elijah, all 42 of them were attacked and killed by the two she-bears.

It was an act of God’s judgment. In again observing the discovery date of comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF), you will notice that the display of numbers in the date of March 2, 2022 hold prophetic significance in light of the 2 Kings 2 story. There are a total of four number 2s in the date – as in, the number 42. As if to pack a one-two confirming punch, the comet’s closest distance to Earth on February 1 will be 42 million kilometers. There it is again, that prophetically peculiar Rapture number 42.

Could the presence of these peculiar numbers in this rather interesting discovery date be further signaling and confirming that God is telling us through this comet that He is about to snatch home those who belong to Him i.e. the true born again body of Christ? – and thereafter judge the world? We do know that the seven-year Tribulation period is divided up into two halves of 42 months each, or 1,260 days according to Daniel chapter 7:25-26 and Revelation chapter 13:3-5/11:2). The first three-and-a-half years (42 months) of the Tribulation Christ referred to is called “the” Tribulation – while the second three-and-a-half years (42 months) is called the “Great” Tribulation.

CONSTELLATION AQUILA AND TITLE 42: THE DESTRUCTION OF THE AMERICAN WORLD ORDER AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW – THE GREEN COMET AND THE “GREEN”BACK

It is probably no secret to many, if not most half-informed Americans that the absolute assault on America’s traditional and long dominant culture seems to be very much an intention to take the United States down to a third world status. That assault takes on many obvious (and some not so obvious) forms. One of the more obvious and in our face forms is that absolute assault on our borders allowing for the mass invasion from third world cultures that share no common culture and interest in America. There has been some renewed talk as of late of merging America, Canada and Mexico into one zone or one unit. This would, in effect, weaken America down to just another nation among the nations and even worse.

This idea has always been recognized as a necessary step in the implementation process of the New World Order. America must be taken down from its position as the world’s global dominant power in order to have a New World Order, or global government. This, of course, takes us right back to the idea of the Antichrist ruling over this new hellish world order – which in turn takes us back to the peculiar sign of the current comet making its way through our inner solar system with its ominous prophetic signs in tow – which in turn, takes us right back to the Rapture as the true Church will be gone before this system emerges.

The observation here is that it would make perfect spiritual sense that we should see another peculiar “42” Rapture omen in the name of a World War 2 public health order that prohibits entry into the United States if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention believes it could introduce communicable diseases into the country. CDC officials invoked Title 42 at the start of the coronavirus so-called “pandemic” in March of 2020. It is prophetically noteworthy that it would be reinstated under a “Trump” presidency considering that it is a “Trump” that will sound when the Rapture event occurs. One can sensibly call this the perfect sovereignty of God in action – and now, most peculiarly, we see a massively prophetic comet make its way into our inner solar system bearing the same tell-tale sign of the number 42 – taking us back to the 2 Kings chapter 2 Rapture narrative.

Going back to the idea of Title 42, the idea that the current and prevailing American world order must be taken down and the “42” “number that speaks of judgment seen in 2 Kings chapter 2 as a typology for the Rapture, it should give us pause to consider the fact that, as the world’s reserve currency since 1944, the American dollar is known worldwide as the “green”back – just as this comet is known as the “green comet.” There has been much talk in the news as of late that the “greenback’s” days as the world’s reserve currency are numbered. There is much talk by the powers that be through their various mouth pieces of society of implementing a digital dollar or digital currency for the world. By all prophetic measures considering what such a system would mean, we are looking at the implementation of the Mark of the Beast system headed up by the Antichrist after the “greenback” system is taken down. Additionally, as everyone is aware, the Statue of Liberty is the most recognizable symbol of America and its color is green. This certainly squares with the observation of the “hit points” of the constellation path that this “green” comet is traveling through the heavens.

Now, with the above thoughts freshly in your thinking, let’s take note of something that appears to be of great importance to this fantastic, yet ominous story unfolding in the heavens before our eyes. Tellingly, on March 2, 2022, when it was discovered, the comet was almost as distant from the sun as Jupiter; it was in the direction in our sky to the constellation Aquila the Eagle, not far north of the celestial equator and low in the morning sky. Specifically, it presents the picture of a “falling eagle.”

In line with that thought, America’s national symbol has always been said to be an eagle. I do realize that many recognize the symbol on the back of the dollar bill to be that of a Phoenix bird. However, the mere fact that in most people’s minds it is the eagle is still quite significant. It seems that if God were sending out a message to the entire world through this comet, he would use clues and concepts that most would recognize regardless of the technicality of the Phoenix bird being depicted on the back of the American dollar. This concept is well established in the teachings/parables of Jesus in the four Gospels. This fact would certainly paint us a further confirming and ominous picture of what is in store for America and for the world after the Rapture takes place. We certainly can see the fall of the eagle in our current pulse on America and the world.

The idea that the current and prevailing American world order must be taken down and the “42” “number that speaks of judgment seen in 2 Kings chapter 2 as a typology for the aftermath of the Rapture should give us pause and consider the picture for the Church i.e. those in the body of Christ.

AQUILA: THE EAGLE IN BIBLICAL TYPOLOGY

In the biblical typology of the eagle, we can also observe that it represents Jesus and his purposeful and intentional falling in Him putting Himself upon the cross to be crucified as seen in Psalm 22. The Eagle also depicts His divinity as well as His protective nature toward His own, demonstrated most definitely in the 91st psalm.  There, we see that He covers those that belong to Him with His symbolic “feathers.” Aquila is a mighty eagle pierced by the arrow, “Sagitta,” the decan. He is fatally wounded and falling down in death, away from the center of the heavens.  Some ancient Greek planispheres depict this constellation actually being pierced by Sagitta.

This should bring to mind our mind something that Jesus said in John 12:25 …

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat [falls] into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain” (John 12:25).

Interestingly, in Hebrew, the name for this constellation is, “Tarared,” which means, “The Wounded.”  It is taken from the third brightest star located at the base of the left wing. The brightest star located in the neck is “Al Tair – which means  “the wounding.”

This should also remind us of what was said in Isaiah 53 …

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken” (Isaiah 53: 5-8).

The fourth and fifth brightest stars, also with Arabic names, tell us even more.  “Al Cair” is located in the edge of the lower wing and means, “The Piercing.”  “Al Okab,” located in the tail means, “Wounded in the Heel.”  This takes us back to Genesis chapter 3 …

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Genesis 3:15).

Another star name in Aquila that has been passed down to us is also “Deneb.”  It means “The Lord or Judge Cometh,” though modern day astronomers do not know its exact position. The brightest star in Aquila is Alpha Aquilae, or Altair. It lies just 17 light-years away from Earth. This should sound familiar to end times prophecy watchers. Back in the year 2017, the world saw the much-discussed Revelation 12 Rapture sign in the heavens. It was also the year that saw the first of two Great American eclipses. The path of this eclipse notably fell on some very prophetic and biblical place names of the nation (see here). It was the first of two uniquely American eclipses, the second of which will take place in April of 2024 – thus being spaced seven years apart (the biblical number of completion and perfection. It is known as God’s perfect number. When the two eclipses are taken together, it will form a giant “X” over America – intersecting at a point in the nation called “Little Egypt” in Illinois.

Previously, the case has been made God’s spiritual and prophetic purpose of the United States of America is directly tied with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ as it pertains to the prophecy of the Vineyard in Matthew 21 (see here). With this comet passing through these particular constellations, it would most certainly seem that we have a double entendre of meaning and story line – particularly with the comet starting out in Aquila. The message the comet brings would seem to be saying that just as Aquila the Eagle (Jesus) fell with a deliberate purpose and intention, so too will the American world order fall since America’s purpose is closely intertwined with Jesus and the Gospel message. In other words, “the fall of the majestic eagle” (Aquila) a double entendre of meaning.

So, what of the Vineyard factor and the number 42? Given the fact that ancient Israel was declared to be the original Vineyard of God by the prophet Isaiah, and given the evidence for the United States of America being the fulfillment of the Matthew 21 Vineyard, or at least closely connected to that prophecy (see here), we might conclusively expect the bear theme and the number 42 to play out in this modern Vineyard America after the Rapture of the Church takes place just as it played out in the original Vineyard Israel in seeing 42 mockers mauled and killed by two bears after Elijah’s Rapture. However, just like Elijah, I am glad that I, along with the rest of the body of Christ will not be here to find out, but it is a good assumption that it will somehow involve the bear (the symbol of Russia) given the current situation between the two nations.

Given the fact that comets have always been harbingers of judgment and major trouble coming to the world, in my humble opinion, in matters and observations such as these, there are no coincidences. Of course, this is not to be dogmatic in saying that this year (2023) will be the year of the Rapture, but most certainly, it very well could be. If not, in my humble opinion, this comet has arrived to serve as an omen of its approach – whichever year the Rapture is scheduled to occur in on God’s timetable. Given the massive prophetic signs occurring in the last several years, we know it is getting very, very close.

In closing, I wish now to show you something that occurred on December 12, 2022, on the surface of the planet Mars, which is known to be the planet representing war. NASA researchers shared a satellite image of what looks like a bear’s face on the surface of the planet.

The extremely interesting part here is that from the time that the photo was taken on December 12, 2022 to the day that the Comet exited the tail of Draco the Dragon was a total of “42” days! Further still, beginning on February 10 and running through the 11th of the next day, the green Rapture comet will appear side by side with Mars (the war planet) (source). Given that the image on Mars is that of a bear, one can only look at this cosmic turn of events as something terribly ominous for the world – yet a blessing for the true, born again individuals in the Church body. This brings us straight back once again to the Revelation 12 parenthetical Rapture passage wherein the “dragon” (Satan) stands before the woman ready to devour the man-child – when suddenly, the child (the Church) is caught up (raptured) into Heaven, followed by the “bear” strike according to the 2 Kings chapter 2 typology narrative. Considering this comet’s habit of bringing our attention to the number 42 and the 2 Kings 2 Elijah Bear attack Rapture story, it would certainly be foolish to dismiss the idea that Divine Providence is warning the world of what is coming sooner rather than later.

In regarding that matter, let us be reminded of God’s revealing to the prophet Ezekiel of a great “fire” that He shall send upon the land of Magog (what many scholars identify as modern Russia) and upon “those that dwell carelessly in the aisles” – an event that is to occur in the end times after the Rapture takes place …

“And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the Lord” Ezekiel 39:6).

There are many opinions among scholars about who is being spoken of regarding those that “dwell carelessly in the aisles.” However, in today’s geopolitical world situation, it is not difficult to imagine that it may be speaking of either America and/or NATO nations. This subject is best left for another article.

THE COMET COMETH PROPHECY UPDATE:

Rapture Comet Enters Constellation Auriga And Crosses Capella: A Fourth “42” Rapture Omen Confirmation

To do a quick overall recap of what we’ve learned thus far as a fresh reminder before proceeding, we have seen that there are many prophetic connotations and signals about this comet that I and many others rightly believe that are serving as a sign from God to the true, born again Church that our departure via the Rapture is getting extremely close. Not only that, but the Rapture will be an act of judgment upon the Christ-rejecting world as we can see in the aftermath of the prophetic typology/foreshadow of the Rapture event displayed in 2 Kings chapter 2 in the Rapture of Elijah. The aftermath of judgment chronicled in that story is that of two she-bears attacking and killing the “42” mockers that were mocking Elisha immediately after the Rapture of Elijah.

Thus far, we have seen that this comet seems to be carrying with it the prophetic banner of the number “42.” We see this number emerge in (1) the aforementioned date of its discovery (March 2, 2022 = four number 2s (thus the number 42), (2) reaching perigee to Earth at “42” million kilometers) and (3) “42” days between the release date of the bear image on Mars and when the comet exited the tail of the dragon. With that important “42” recap in mind, we are now observing the comet (at the time of this update) moving away from the Earth back out into the solar system. As it does, we can now see that the comet has entered the Constellation Auriga.

This is where the prophetic nature of this comet continues to confirm its authenticity as a stunning sign in the heavens from God that should be getting our attention. It is this next phase of its travel path that is yet again pointing to another “42” Rapture/Tribulation clue.

Interestingly, it is a constellation of 66 stars. The total number of books that make up the Bible are 66. According to the most ancient legend, Auriga was a goat herder and the patron of shepherds and all who tend flocks.

Not only is Auriga usually depicted as a charioteer, but he is depicted holding the reins of a chariot with his right hand and carrying a goat and its two young on his left arm. 

This image reminds us that the Antichrist is compared to a goat in the book of Daniel chapter 8 …

“In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first. And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai. Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last. I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great. And as I was considering, behold, a he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power. And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand. Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven” (Daniel 8:1-8)

The prophetic point becomes all the more telling when considering that the comet passed through the Corona Borealis constellation representing the crowning of Satan’s emissary the Antichrist and also passed through Draco the Dragon representing Satan as previously mentioned. As he is holding a goat and his two offspring in his left arm should remind us of the sobering sheep and goat judgment to take place at the end of the earthly judgments of the Tribulation period which occurs after the Rapture and before the beginning of the 1,000-year millennial reign of Christ on Earth …

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” (Matthew 25:31-46).

It is here at this transition point between the end of the Tribulation and the beginning of the 1,000-year millennial kingdom of peace that the unsaved lost (the goats) will be separated from the sheep (those who were made right with God by receiving Christ). The goats will be cast into the fire of damnation while the sheep will enter the heavenly kingdom. Therefore, it is most interesting that we should see this prophetic comet enter the constellation depicting a goat herder gathering his own sheep and seeing the theme of “goats” (the damned) on the left arm of this constellation – thus reflecting Jesus’ statement of putting the goats on his left hand side at this most sobering judgment to come being heralded by this comet.

Here at this juncture, it is most important to make a clarification here: The sheep are those who were saved during the Tribulation just as current believers during the Church Age before the Rapture are also sheep. The goats are the unsaved who survived the Tribulation. In reading this parable, it is easy to walk away with the impression that salvation is based on what good works you do or don’t do.

However, Scripture does not contradict itself, and the Bible clearly and repeatedly teaches that salvation is by faith through the grace of God and not by our good works (see John 1:12; Acts 15:11; Romans 3:22-24; Romans 4:4-8; Romans 7:24-25; Romans 8:12; Galatians 3:6-9; and Ephesians 2:8-10). In fact, Jesus Himself makes it clear in the parable that the salvation of the “sheep” is not based on their works—their inheritance was theirs “since the creation of the world” (Matthew 25:34), long before they could ever do any good works.

The good works mentioned in the parable are not the cause of salvation but the effect of salvation. As Christians we become like Christ (see Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18; and Colossians 2:6-7). Galatians 5:22 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. Good works in a Christian’s life are the direct overflow of these traits, and are only acceptable to God because of the relationship that already exists between servant and Master, the saved and their Savior, the sheep and their Shepherd (see Ephesians 2:10). So, works do not decide a person’s salvation. The core message of the Parable of the Sheep and Goats is that good works will result from our relationship to the Shepherd.

With that point hopefully clarified, let us now observe the most interesting discovery that Aurega is depicted in ancient times as the “charioteer.” Its name actually means “the charioteer” in Latin. The constellation got this name because its major stars form a shape similar to that of the pointed helmet of a charioteer. This should start sounding very familiar right now if you’re paying attention. As it pertains to the major prophetic Rapture typology picture in 2 Kings chapter 2 that we have been discussing, when Elijah was raptured, the text tells us that a “chariot of fire” along with “horses of fire” took Elijah up in a whirlwind. How interesting it is that we not only have the “42” connection between this comet and the judgment of the “42” Rapture mockers, but we also have a connection to the “chariot” feature of the Elijah story as the comet entered the “charioteer” constellation. But wait, didn’t you say the charioteer is representative of the Antichrist and not a Godly charioteer as what scooped up Elijah? The same imagery applies as Satan has his opposite function and counterfeit. Just as the Holy Spirit could be considered a charioteer luring and drawing human beings to Jesus Christ for salvation, so too is Satan and his emissary the Antichrist a charioteer drawing the lost into the realm of damnation and the Mark of the Beast system.

Capella And The Kids – The Fourth “42” Rapture Omen

Capella is the brightest star in the Auriga constellation and the sixth brightest star in the sky.

Interestingly, Capella is known as the “golden star.” It is what scientists/astronomers apparently refer to as a G-type star like the sun. It has a yellow glow like the sun. It is in Revelation chapter 3 that the lost and damned person of the Laodicean Church era in the end times just before the Rapture occurs are told by Christ to buy of Him “gold” tried in the fire” that one one may possess eternal life – speaking of placing one’s faith and trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and obtaining eternal life …

“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Revelation 3:14-22).

Interestingly, Capella is actually two stars, Capella A and Capella B, both yellow giant stars (resembling gold), but we can only see one point of light – making it appear as though it were one star. Just as it is the goat star representing the Antichrist, so too will this Antichrist figure seek to replace and mimic Jesus Christ – thus shining forth the counterfeit allure of the true symbolic “gold” of faith that Jesus admonished the lost to symbolically buy from him for eternal life.

Just as interesting is the fact that these two Capella stars are 43 light years from us. As you may recall from a previous article, the number 43 signifies the unending Church generation. In Matthew 1:17, there are a total of 42 generations from Abraham to Christ, we now observe that the Church is generation number 43, a continuous and unending generation. If one looks at the day of Atonement, which was Yom Kippur, this was the day that the high priest would go in once a year and sprinkle blood on the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant, on the veil and on the four horns of the altar. According to Alfred Eldershine who wrote a book titled “The Temple” wrote that the priest would sprinkle the blood of the bull on his finger once down and seven times up. Then blood from the goat would be sprinkled once down and seven times up for sin atonement as seen in Leviticus 4. On the day of Atonement, atonement for sin was completed and the assignment for atonement was finished after the blood had been sprinkled a total of 43 times. Of course, as we know, it is the Church (43rd generation) that will see the Rapture.

Nearby to Capella is a small acute triangle of stars playfully known as “The Kids.”

We can also say “the Sons” as we are told in scripture that those who are born again in Christ are a part of God’s family and are labeled “sons.” However, so too are Lucifer’s children (Christ rejectors) “sons” of the evil one by default.

Now, it is time for the big reveal giving us the aforementioned fourth “42” Rapture omen confirmation. This most important star in the constellation is 42.2 light years distant from the sun and 42.8 light years distant to the Earth! Remember that the Tribulation is also divided up into two sections of “42” months each for a total of 7 years duration. Both distances (Earth and Sun) of this Aurelia Capella star would seem to represent both the two “42” month segments of the Tribulation in addition to the “42” Elijah Rapture typology. In creation, the sun represents Jesus. Here, we have a Rapture connotation in the number 42 and its distance from the sun and the sun itself seemingly presenting a picture that the “sun” (Jesus) is getting ready to Rapture home his kids while judgment will fall upon the left behind world – i.e. the judgment of the “42” in the 2 Kings 2 story via the bears.

Given the fact that there is now four “42” Rapture omens associated with this comet and its travel path through the inner solar system, we now turn our attention to the huge elephant in the room that has the word “Rapture” written all over it. In the book of Revelation chapter 4 verse 1, we have what has long been an obvious and very solid observance of a picture of the Rapture … the words “come up here” spoken to the Apostle John by the glorified Jesus as John was lifted off the Island of Patmos to be shown a vision of what lie ahead in the future. Many scholars are in agreement that chapter “4” verse 2 is a picture of the Rapture of those on Christ at the end of the Church Age …

“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter” (Revelation 4:1).

Four “42” Rapture clues accompanying this comet and a Revelation 4:1 Rapture? Is God telling us something marvelous here? In my humble opinion, yes, He is. He is telling us that we are almost home.

In closing, consider this – the Aurega constellation appears to take on the shape of not only a Hexagon, but an irregular Pentagon.

As you already know by now from reading previously, a central piece of the puzzle that would be necessary to the Rapture event coming up for the Church according to the “42” bear attack Rapture typology seen in 2 Kings chapter 2 would be for a nation under the symbol of the bear to strike America. As we know, the original Vineyard (Israel) is attacked by two bears and “42” mockers were killed. In America, the nation that I believe is either the direct fulfillment of the Matthew 21 transferred Vineyard prophecy or closely connected to it due to the observable evidence, we are all aware of the obvious conflict emerging between America and the “bear” of Russia – thus pointing us back to the path of the comet. The necessary piece of the puzzle for the pattern to play out is that America will have to be attacked by the bear (Russia). The Pentagon is considered the war planning center of America – the suspected modern Vineyard i.e. the Matthew 21 account . The comet’s travel through Aurega would seem to be confirming what we already know about the timing of the Rapture as seen in the 2 Kings 2 story – that the Rapture is going to occur before the bear of Russia does what the globalists want them to do – which is strike America. Is the comet’s passage through the Pentagon constellation a further confirmation of this “Bear Rapture Prophecy” pattern? Sure looks like it.

GOD’S REQUIREMENT FOR YOUR INCLUSION IN THE RAPTURE AND ESCAPE FROM THE COMING WRATH

As has been thoroughly demonstrated, the divinely inspired text that we call the Bible promises a coming horrendous seven-year Tribulation period of judgment upon Earth for all of mankind, no matter what your religion, belief or creed is, and even to those who don’t believe anything spiritual at all.  We can now clearly see the signs of this approaching nightmare.  However, as we’ve already seen, this same divinely inspired text that we call the Bible promises a dramatic escape from off the face of the earth before this horrendous time of judgment only to a certain category of people.  

Put simply, an event is coming that will be so stupendous that it strains the mind to contemplate such an event happening.  It is an event that will see millions upon millions of people across the globe suddenly disappear without warning.  The millions of disappeared will have literally ascended into Heaven itself after instantaneously receiving a new glorified body fit for Heaven.  A body that will be able to withstand the atmosphere and glory of Heaven.  This event is known as the “Rapture.”  But the promise of escape is only to those who are “born again” in Christ.  This is why it is crucial to understand what Christ meant when he declared in no uncertain terms that only those who are “born again” in him will enter the Kingdom of God.  For the explanation of this, keep reading below.

In order to accept the offer of God’s grace and his salvation, you must take the crucial three steps of …

1. Agreeing – A belief and agreeing with God in all that he says in his word, the Bible, about the fact that you are separated from God, as every man and woman on the face of the earth are before accepting his salvation.  The Bible reveals that all are separated from him in a spiritual state of death, or said another way that the Bible reveals it, in a state of sin, that will result in damnation in the afterlife.  Agreeing with God in your heart that you are in need of his salvation.  The Bible reveals that God looks upon the heart of a man or woman, and thus, responds accordingly to the person who comes to him for salvation in recognition of his inability to save himself.  The Bible makes these facts very clear – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).  “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).  The Bible describes these three kinds of death:  

• physical death (the state experienced when life leaves our bodies).
• spiritual death (spiritual separation from God caused by our state of spiritual death inherited from the first man Adam – the state of sin that results in our daily outward acts of sin, whether deliberate or not, whether omissive or not; and finally …
• the second death (the fixed state entered into by the individual who dies physically while he or she is dead spiritually). This state is entered into after the death of the body which results in punishment in the afterlife until the event of the Great White Throne Judgment occurs wherein the damned are resurrected from Hades, or Hell, and are judged according to their works and finally destroyed and cease to exist after being cast into the Lake of Fire. Revelation 14 refers to this tragic end of the unsaved as the “Second Death” (verse 14). It is this state of suffering entered into after physical death and then final destruction at the Great White Throne Judgment in particular which is the horrible result of receiving the wages of sin (unforgiven due to unbelief and rejection of Christ). The Lord Jesus Christ frequently described such a death as being irrevocable in a destiny which he called Hell.  He described Hell as a literal place of judgment (Matthew 13:42); a place of everlasting fire (Matthew 18:8); a place of torment (Luke 16:24,28); a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:50); a place of remorse (Mark 9:44-48); of bitter memory (Luke 16:25), and a place originally prepared for the Devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41).  In fact, Jesus more often warned about Hell than he spoke about Heaven.

It is not God’s will or desire that any person should be consigned to perish in Hell (2 Peter 3:9), but rather that all should come to repentance of unbelief toward him and believe on him for the salvation of the individual’s soul.  But God’s justice requires that the “soul who sins” (remains in it’s state of death or state of sin) is the one who will die a second time after a long period of torment (Ezekiel 18:4).  So, agree with God, admitting that you are unable to save yourself and in a state of sin under God’s just condemnation for that sin and that you are in need of his salvation.

2. Believing – Then, believe that God does not want you to suffer this fate because of your sin.  Believe that God loves you so much that he provided a way whereby he could still be a just, holy and righteous God, and yet pardon you.  Believe that God did not just overlook sin, but that he sent his only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to provide salvation by personally paying the penalty for sin.  Believe that Jesus Christ, whose life, death, burial and resurrection is the best-attested fact of antiquity, did come to earth to live, die, rise again and ascend to Heaven in order to provide justification and salvation for all who trust him.  Believe that he, and he alone, can save you because he has fully satisfied the just demands of God.  Believe that you can’t become righteous in God’s sight by your own effort.  Believe that he wants to save you and that he will save you.  The Bible provides a solid basis for such belief …

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17). 

“But God demonstrates his love toward us in this:  while we were yet sinners,  Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). 

God presented him (Jesus Christ) as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in his blood.  He did this to demonstrate his justice because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished – he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies the man or woman who has faith in Jesus (Romans 3:25-26). 

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures … ” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). 

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). 

“Jesus answered, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).  “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out [drive away]” (John 6:37).

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20).

3. Calling – It is not enough to agree with God, admit your need, and believe that Christ can and will save you.  You must act upon those facts. God’s requirement is that you repent of your unbelief toward him and actively call upon him for the salvation of your soul based on the fact that you cannot save yourself. It is unbelief in particular that damns the soul to its horrible fate …

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15).

You must be willing to completely turn from your own efforts to save yourself or from any other hope.  You must come to Christ, calling upon him for salvation and counting on the fact that he will do what he has promised.  This means simply taking the gift of pardon and eternal life which he offers.  Merely believing about Jesus Christ without coming to him makes as much sense and is as effective as believing that a medication can successfully treat a fatal disease, but failing to take it.  Yet again, the Bible emphatically and authoritatively provides the basis for such statements.

The word translated “believe” here means to “rest one’s entire weight and trust on the object or person in which the belief is placed.”  It requires action in keeping with the intellectual assent of that belief.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).

” … but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The logical question you may be asking at this point is:  “how do I come to Christ and call upon him?”  The answer is that “calling upon the Lord” is just another term for praying, or talking to God.  To talk to God is not a complicated process, dependent upon some special rituals.  God has invited people to approach him through his Son in simple, straightforward terms.  In fact, Jesus approved of the dishonest, despised tax collector who simply prayed, “God be merciful to me, a sinner.”  While the exact words of your prayer to God are not of vital importance (since God sees and knows the attitude of your heart), the following is the kind of prayer that you could pray in calling upon God for salvation …

“Dear Lord Jesus:  I realize that I need you.  I admit that I have sinned and that I deserve your just, eternal punishment for that sin.  But I am sorry for my sin and I am turning to you and asking for forgiveness.  I believe that you died and rose again to pay sin’s penalty on my behalf.  I come to you and open my heart to you.  I ask you to come into my life, forgive me for all of my sin and make me your child.  I invite you to take control of my life and to cause me to be the kind of person you would have me to be.  I thank you for doing this because you have promised that whosoever calls upon you, as I am doing now, shall be saved.  I pray this in the name of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.”

If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, I urge you to sincerely and genuinely express it to God as your prayer.  The Bible makes clear that when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in our heart, God forgives our sins and counts us righteous, and that when we openly confess with our mouth what we have done in our heart,  God gives us assurance of that salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:3-7).
