“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder …” (Revelation 6:1).
At this point in the Revelation narrative, we have seen the Church Age come and go in the Seven Church Ages in the Dispensation of Grace. This Age of Grace concluded with the departure of all true born-again believers in Christ off of the earth in Revelation 4:1 before judgment strikes.
All of those who personally received Christ while on Earth during the Age of Grace are now in Heaven receiving (or in some cases losing) reward for their service performed (or not performed) for the Lord while on Earth during the time they were in their earthly bodies …
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
With that understood, it is most interesting to observe the divine and supernaturally influenced structure of the Bible that displays a providential fingerprint of authenticity. We see that fingerprint of authenticity on clear display when reading the judgments of the book of Revelation. As such, it should make it that much more certain in anyone’s mind that these judgments are certain to come to pass according to God’s prophetic plan as displayed in this most fearful and important book. This is what I shall take a quick look at before delving into the judgments of Revelation itself and the signs that are emerging of their soon arrival. That said and understood, it is extremely interesting to see this display of authenticity in the peculiar observation that the 22 chapters of Revelation correspond to the meaning of the 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet in their respective order. The creation of the physical world was completed in six days and a complete self-contained object consists of six dimensions: above and below, right and left, before and behind. In this primary meaning, we can begin to understand why the six days of creation became a prophecy of the following six millennia (see the article titled “THE END AFTER THE END OF 6,000 YEARS: HAVE WE ENTERED THE 7,000TH YEAR?” in the “Recommended Reading” section at the end of this article. Completion will come at the end of 6,000 years. In Revelation 6, the process of completion begins as Christ breaks the seals.
